I didn't know they had made a film of The Little Prince, and I'm not hugely familiar with the book (I have read it, but a long time ago). But those changes sound ridiculous, but typical of Hollywood - it seems to me a lot like they did with Frozen. It's supposedly "based on" The Snow Queen, which is one of my favourite fairytales - so I understand completely how you feel.

I mean they could've just legit made an animation of the actual story, which is what I'd expect going in but chose not to because??? *shrugs*
